Charitable Grants and Independent Educational or Scientific Programs

As such, MedImmune recognizes the important role of corporate grant giving in support of educational and charitable activities that ultimately improve patient healthcare and further understanding of disease states and treatment options within the community.

    MedImmune provides financial support for programs that focus on improvements or quality in healthcare and education on a full range of treatment options.  Consistent with the PhRMA Code, MedImmune does not support programs that promote a particular medicine.  

    Overview of Grant Submission and Review Process

  • Grant requestor submits grant request via online grant application process
        Submit online grant application
  • Submit your request at least six weeks prior to your program date or event
  • Upon submission, a confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent containing a Grant ID
        number for your request
  • In most cases, you will be notified via e-mail within eight weeks as to our decision to fund
        or not to fund your grant request
  • Our Grant Review Team will review your application against predetermined criteria
  • For approved grants, the requestor will be sent a Letter of Agreement (LOA) for review
        and signature
  • Once the signed LOA is received by the Grants Office, funds will be processed and sent
        to the requestor

    MedImmune Supported Fellowship Programs
  • Pediatric Fellowship Grants focused on follow-up care of the premature infant - Currently accepting applications through June 30, 2009
  • Pediatric Viral Respiratory Disease Fellowship Grants focused on viral respiratory pathogens or disease conditions of pediatric patients - not currently accepting applications
