EphA4 Agonists

MEDI-542 is a monoclonal antibody targeting the EphA4 protein. EphA4 is expressed at high levels in multiple tumor types, including pancreatic cancer, and high levels of EphA4 are believed to contribute to tumor growth and metastases. Antibodies developed to target and degrade EphA4 may potentially result in decreased expression of this cancer-regulating protein, and therefore may play a role in the reduction of malignant behavior.
